Akaryoshye kahora mu itama gute? KezaPlex, pushes three months, more to come in the second quarter

Building a premium communication service is not a joke. It is exciting to realize how despite numerous challenges the team behind KezaPlex has executed and drove forward their mission of valorizing premium information online and offline with services such as coupon request with PSN508, Kikchett with PSN908, results request with PSN608, etc.

As information technology continue to lead the world, Africa continues to stall behind. It is not a surprise to anyone that despite millions and bazillions of investment from both the private sector and government institutions, nearly every single cell phone is imported from Asia, a good percentage of IT infrastructure is owned and for the most part operated by the west and even worse there is no sign of hope that at any time that will change. One has to wonder why? One answer is that there are many challenges.

KezaPlex, a premium communication service by KezaPay was launched at the beginning of the year. With the goal to enable valorization of premium information online and offline. The system allows a text and access structure where users are able to have access to various information by texting certain keywords that the KezaPlex team dubbed PSN, acronym that stands for Premium Service Number.

Initially, the focus has been to avail coupons, results, and processes. For coupons in the first three months, we were able to strike working agreements with two of the leading e-commerce players: Ihaha Technologies LTD based in Kigali Rwanda and Akabanga Market LLC based in Dallas, Texas, USA. With coupons, the user receives the coupon by texting PSN508 space and name of the store: PSN508 Ihaha, PSN508 AkabangaMarket, PSN508 PapaJohns, etc.

For Results Publication we have engaged a conversation with results publication partners, however, we have not been able to finalize a working agreement. We plan to have this finalized in the second quarter. Currently, our preferred route is to work with information supplier who in turn work with result publishers, however, we have engaged communication with result publishers directly.

In order to cater for all of our users, we have also added a kikchett service with PSN908 in order to engage the younger generation that is not always interested in serious information that we are currently focusing on. Currently, we have trial kikchett sub service: PSN908 abubu, PSN908 sakwe, PSN908 imigani, PSN908 urwenya.

One thing we are yet to set up is the media, sales and marketing team (KezaPlex MSM Team) that will engage e-commerce players for more discount coupons to users, as well as media campaign benefiting our e-commerce partners while promoting shopping and transacting online.

The next three months we plan to fully integrate KezaPay with KezaPlex and bringing your more premium information, more stores with coupons, and many more. In addition to short-term media, sales and marketing goals, KezaPlex MSM will engage our strategic partners while driving joint longterm marketing initiatives in order to promote online shopping, our partners and our brand.
